A few months ago I signed a contract for three more books, and I have been working on the first one diligently ever since. I can't tell you how excited I am about this series I've titled The Expendables. Here's a little about it.
-->
After
the war, the surviving 12 soldiers return to London and frequently meet at a
club known as The Draven Club. The “Draven Dozen”—hellraisers before they left
for war, now a group of restless renegades —must settle back into Society and
the world they left behind, facing new threats to their lives and their heart.
Yes, you read that right. I'm potentially dealing with twelve heroes here! But for now I've been focusing on just one--Ewan, aka The Protector.
Here's a bit about his book, which will be out in spring 2016.

Twelve hot British noblemen—Dare you to pick just one.
With England on the
brink of losing the war against Napoleon, Lieutenant Colonel Draven asks 30
younger sons of the nobility—the best, the brightest, but most importantly, the
expendable—to form a troop and conduct a suicidal mission. Against all odds, the
mission succeeds, which leads to even more daring assignments for the
ramshackle unit, who continue to risk their lives for their country.
Yes, you read that right. I'm potentially dealing with twelve heroes here! But for now I've been focusing on just one--Ewan, aka The Protector.
Here's a bit about his book, which will be out in spring 2016.
For Ewan
Mostyn, 3rd son of the Earl of Pembroke, childhood was anything but
sweet. Painfully slow at reading and arithmetic, Ewan was ridiculed and taunted by his family and tutors, especially his cousin Francis. So Ewan fostered the one talent he knew he possessed: his
brawn. And he used it to serve those who didn’t dismiss him for his academic
shortcomings. Ewan grew into a man known for his fierce loyalty to his friends.
Every soldier in Draven’s Dozen wanted Ewan at his back on a mission.
But Ewan’s
reputation for invincibility—coupled with his fair skin, light hair, remarkable
height, and muscled physique—gives no indication that he still feels
slow-witted as a dolt and fears that he’ll never be good enough. After the war,
Ewan takes a position as the muscle at a gambling hell. That’s where the Duke
of Ridlington finds him and offers Ewan a position as his daughter’s bodyguard.
Lady
Lorraine’s plans to escape her controlling father and elope with the man she
loves have been thwarted. Now the duke has insisted she endure another Season
and make an effort to find a man he considers suitable.
Lorrie is none
too pleased to meet Ewan, the man she considers her prison guard for the next
several months. She knows he’ll prevent her from another attempt to elope with
Francis, who just happens to be her bodyguard’s hated cousin...plus Ewan’s
dangerously good looks and obviously powerful body fire her blood in spite of
herself. What Lorrie doesn’t anticipate is that she’ll need all the help she
can get from Ewan when an abduction attempt comes from an unlikely source—or
that she’ll need and want all of Ewan, including his heart.
I'm finishing up revisions on Ewan's book, tentatively titled The Protector, now. I can't wait for all of you to read it. But mostly, I REALLY want to see the cover!
I can't wait for the new series!
